Piedmont Macon Medical Center Visitor Information

Care Partner Policy (Updated November 21, 2023)

Given the low COVID transmission rate in our community for a consistent period of time now, Piedmont Macon Medical Center and Piedmont Macon North Hospital are dropping masking requirements; hospital guests and visitors are encouraged but not required to wear masks inside the facilities.

• Visitation hours are from 8:00 a.m. - 8:00 p.m. Visitors should arrive no later than 7:30 p.m. in order to sign in and visit their loved one before visiting hours are over.
• The minimum age for visitors is 12 years old. An adult must accompany visitors under the age of 16.
• A few departments have stricter visitation policies, including:
  • ICU/CVICU: limit two visitors at one time.
  • ER: limit one visitor per patient.
  • Rehab: visitation Monday through Friday, 4-8:00 p.m.; Saturday and Sunday, 8:00 a.m. - 8:00 p.m.

Please do not visit if you have a fever, cough or symptoms of illness.
