Center of Excellence for Pancreatitis and Pancreas Cancer

Leading-edge Care and Research

Pancreas cancer is one of the most complex and difficult cancers to treat. At Piedmont Oncology, the first step in treating pancreatic cancer is to get an accurate diagnosis. While there are no practical tests for the early detection of pancreas cancer, our multidisciplinary team of oncologists, gastroenterologists, surgeons, radiologists, radiation specialists, and pathologists are dedicated to finding the right treatment plan, and helping you navigate every step of your journey.

Andrew Page Pancreas Cancer Fund

The Andrew Page Pancreas Cancer Fund has been created by a patient for patients. The focus of the Fund is to direct support to patients and caregivers as they fight pancreas cancer. Current expenses for the Fund include working with consultants on improving the patient and caregiver experience – at diagnosis, in preparation for surgery, and recovery from surgery.

Atlanta Pancreas Cancer Conference

The 6th Annual Pancreas Cancer Conference was held on November 4, 2023, at Shaheen Auditorium at Piedmont Hospital. The conference is open to physicians, physician assistants, nurse practitioners, nurses, students and trainees to learn about the latest in pancreas cancer care and treatment from experts in the field.

We are excited to grow and expand our Survivor and Caregiver Forum for all who have been or know someone who has been through a pancreatic cancer diagnosis and treatment. Patients and caregivers have the opportunity to keep up with pancreatic cancer news and also connect and grow their network and support group by connecting with others who have similar experiences and questions.

If you would like to receive updates and information on this year's conference, please email Bailey.Ward@thejuicestudios.com.

For more information on the conference, please visit the conference page.
