About the Event
Lung cancer is by far the leading cause of cancer death in the US, accounting for about 1 in 5 of all cancer deaths. Each year, more people die of lung cancer than of colon, breast, and prostate cancers combined. The good news is that the number of deaths from lung cancer continues to drop due to fewer people smoking and advances in early detection and treatment.
Join us for this exclusive event to learn more about the latest technologies used by Piedmont Atlanta Hospital in the screening, early diagnosis and treatment of lung cancer. You’ll have the opportunity to speak directly with our clinical experts about the resources available for early detection and care, in addition to trying your hand at maneuvering the surgical robots through fun training games!
